The State of Israel offers a grant to fund a familiarization tour of Israel for “decision makers.” 


Decision-makers are influencers who can motivate others to visit Israel.


Are you a “decision-maker?”

YES, if you are a Pastor, Business Networker, Leader of a Social Organization, Travel Agent, or Social Media Influencer. 


A business card & bio are all you need to qualify with the State of Israel.


What is covered in Israel’s grant?

Hotel? Free!

What’s not covered in the grant?

1. A service fee of USD $300 to help support your trip in Israel from Philip’s House. Philip’s House LLC is a Seattle-based tour company focused on Israel travel. Our founder, Philip McCallum will be on this tour along with others to support you.


2. Your flight to Tel Aviv. You book your own flight through EL AL Airlines. EL AL is currently the only air carrier flying to Israel. All other international carriers have suspended flights to Israel. When booking, depart the USA on or before November 18 and depart Israel on or after November 26. Please contact Philip’s House to confirm your flight arrangements before payment. Select EL AL's reservation protection for just $29 to keep your fare flexible.


3. Travel Insurance between $110 to $350, depending on age and options. Review options and book your insurance through our broker ➡️ here.


4. Tips for your bus driver, tour guide, and waiter/waitress. Plan about USD $12 per day, so about $72 for this trip.


5. A spouse may join the tour with a "decision-maker." If the spouse does not qualify for the grant as a pastor, business networker, community leader, or social media influencer, he or she will need to pay the land tour cost of $1,800. This is in addition to airfare, service fee, travel insurance, and tips.

Depart from your Home City

Depart from your USA departure airport to connect with an international flight to Israel.  (Airlines, flights, times, hotels, and sites are subject to change without notice.)

Arrive Tel Aviv Night Netanya

Arrive at Ben Gurion Airport, between Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. You will pass through Israel’s immigration and be greeted by a Philip’s House representative. Look for the smiling face holding the Philip’s House sign! 


Because our tour members will be arriving on various flights, please advise Philip’s House of your arrival time to ensure we can meet and transport you to your hotel.


You will spend the night at David's Harp Hotel in Netanya on the Mediterranean Sea.

Modern Israel – Fulfillment of Prophecy

Tour Kibbutz Magal to learn about the birth of the State of Israel. 


The next stop is ancient Caesarea and the extensive Roman ruins, including the amphitheater, where Paul made his defense (Acts 23-26). 


Explore the Nazareth Village that brings the childhood home of Jesus to life.


Take in the view of the Sea of Galilee as you drive along the northern shore.


Tonight you will be staying at the new Harp of David Hotel overlooking the Sea of Galilee and directly across the street from Capernaum the hometown of Jesus.

Trace the Steps of Jesus

Start at the Mount of Beatitudes, overlooking the sea where Jesus delivered His famous sermon (Matthew 5-7). 


Explore the newly excavated first-century synagogue at Magdala. Visit Tabgha, the traditional site of the loaves and fishes miracle (Mark 6:30-44). 


Sit and reflect at the site of the multiplication of the loaves and fishes at Tabgha.


Take a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee and see a replica of an ancient fishing vessel from Jesus' time. 


Witness the remains of a ship from the first century only recently discovered on the shore of Galilee. The boat at Ginasaur will help you envision the world Jesus knew.


Tour the ruins of Capernaum, the center of Jesus' Galilean ministry, including the ancient synagogue (Mark 1:21-34). 


Return to Harp of David Hotel for dinner and overnight.

On to Jerusalem

Visit Qasr Al Yahud, the traditional baptism site of Jesus on the Jordan River (Matthew 3:13-17). 


Tour the Qumran caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered, learning about the Essene community. 


Check into Hotel Yehuda in Jerusalem for a quick refreshment. 


Drive to the seaside city of Ashdod to join the  Beit Hallel Congregation for their Shabbat Service at 6pm.


Return to your hotel for the night.

The City Jesus Loved

Begin with a panoramic view of Jerusalem from the Mount of Olives (Luke 19:41-44). 


Walk the Palm Sunday route down to the Garden of Gethsemane, among ancient olive trees (Matthew 26:36-56). Step into Dominus Flevit, the church that commemorates where Jesus wept over Jerusalem.


Enter Jerusalem through the Lion's Gate. Visit the Crusader-era St. Anne's Church, known for its extraordinary acoustics, near the Pool of Bethesda. 


Walk sections of the Via Dolorosa through the Old City. See where Jesus was crucified and raised from the dead at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. 


Take in the sunset over Jerusalem from the roof of the restaurant at Notre Dame, a Catholic retreat facility in Jerusalem.


Return to Hotel Yehuda for the night.

Walking Tour of Jerusalem

Visit the Garden Tomb and it's realistic depiction of a first-century grave and experience communion as never before.


Tour the ruins of the City of David and wade through Hezekiah's water Tunnel, carved in the 8th century BCE (2 Kings 20:20). 


Step into the Upper Room where Jesus hosted the first communion and visit the Tomb of David on the lower floor. 


Experience the history of Jerusalem at the Davidson Center and sit on the Southern Steps where Jesus taught.


Pray at the Western Wall.


Return to Hotel Yehuda for the night.

Feel Israel's Struggle

Our day begins in the 'Gaza Envelope', an area deeply impacted by the recent war. 


At the Nova Festival site and burnt cars memorial, we'll pay our respects to those affected by the October 7, 2023 attack. 


We'll visit Sderot, a resilient town that has long faced challenges, and gain a unique perspective overlooking Gaza and meet Pastor Michael Beener and the congregation at City of Life.


On your return to Jerusalem, stop at the Elah Valley where David's victory over Goliath (1 Samuel 17) gives hope for Israel today.


Refresh and pack at Hotel Yehuda and take transportation to Ben Gurion Airport for your flight back home.

Arrive Home

Your flight for the USA departs just after midnight. 


You now have social media friends in Israel. You've left a part of yourself in the Holy Land. You want to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and go back one day soon.


Thanks to the time zone, you will arrive home on the same day, Tuesday, November 26. It's time for Thanksgiving!
