The Book of Acts is not history to us. It is our story. An Ethiopian carried the gospel home from Jerusalem in Acts 8. Paul crossed the sea to Macedonia in Acts 16. This July walk where the Apostles walked at a pace built for summer and for older travelers.

Stand at the river outside Philippi where Lydia, the first believer in Europe, was baptized. Walk the Egnatian Way in Thessaloniki and read 1 Thessalonians where it was first received. Sit in Berea, where the people searched the Scriptures every day. Climb the Acropolis before the heat and read Acts 17 on Mars Hill. Sit at the Bema in Corinth where Paul stood before Gallio.

On Sunday, worship with believers in Athens. We are working with our Greek partner to bring the Ethiopian Christian community of Athens together with you for a meal.

ACTIVE: WALK like an apostle. Step on the pavement where Paul once stood and scan the same horizon he saw. Shake off the spectator and step into the story.

REFLECTIVE: PAUSE on location. Just five minutes of quiet where the Bible was written is enough to set you up for an encounter with Jesus.

RELATIONAL: MEET local believers. God is still at work in Greece, and Italy today. Make friends with the followers of Jesus who live where Paul taught.

Flying in. Arrange your own flights to land at Thessaloniki (SKG) by 4:00 pm on Tuesday, July 13, 2027. From Seattle, that means leaving Monday, July 12, through a European connection.

Registration opens at 6:00 pm in the lobby of the Capsis Hotel, 18 Monastiriou Street, Thessaloniki, and the welcome dinner follows at 7:30 pm. Book a recommended flight and Aristotle's representative meets you at the airport and brings you to the hotel. Arrive at another time and the taxi to the hotel takes about 20 minutes, around €30.

Between cities. Your Thessaloniki to Athens flight on Friday, July 16 is included and booked for the whole group.

Flying home. Flights home leave Athens (ATH) on Tuesday, July 20, 2027. Book a departure of 10:00 am or later; the group coach leaves The Acropolis Hill Hotel for the airport at 6:30 am. Earlier flights or other days, the taxi takes about 45 minutes, around €45. Want to stay on? Extra nights can be added at cost.
